Architecture Job Captain

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Job Captain to join our collaborative design team. This role will focus on the design and production of multifamily apartment buildings, from concept through construction, with an emphasis on efficient, accurate Revit documentation and coordination. You will be a key link between the design vision and technical execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at a high level of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day production and coordination of architectural drawings in Revit for multifamily residential projects.
• Collaborate closely with Project Manager, Architect, and Consultants to ensure design intent is carried through all phases.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Manage project drawing sets, including redlines, revisions, and sheet organization, while maintaining Revit standards and BIM best practices.
• Assist in code research, zoning analysis, and permit documentation for multifamily projects.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction administration.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in Revit techniques and project standards.

Qualifications:

• Associates, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; architectural licensure or working toward licensure preferred.
• 5+ years of architectural experience, with at least 3 years focused on multifamily residential projects.
• Proficiency in Revit is required; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, or Bluebeam is a plus.
• Understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and multifamily construction methods.
• Experience preparing full construction document sets for permitting and bidding.
