Position Highlights:
You’ll be working within the marketing function for the firm, specifically, supporting events as well as following up with leads. The primary function of this role is to drive qualified leads from all channels into the practice to meet with the advisor. The ideal candidate will have experience calling leads and setting appointments for financial advisors.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
· Develop and implement business and marketing plans
· Screen and qualify leads for appointments
· Screen and register prospects for upcoming events and seminars
· Follow up with prospects and set appointments for financial advisors in office
· Call Prospects to complete follow up & reminder calls
· Coordinate client appreciation functions and marketing programs
· Prepare materials for local client events and seminars
· Assist the team with marketing projects, as needed.
· Attend workshops from roughly 6 to 8 pm, 2 to 4 times/month
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
· 2+ years of sales & marketing experience in a Client Services environment required.
· Insurance & Financial background a plus; specifically, in annuities, life insurance & managed money
· Experience in copywriting, producing and/or editing of marketing materials, preferred
· Handle confidential information in a discrete and professional manner.
· Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
· Effective time management skills
· Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Highly refined human relations skills
· Must be self-motivated with a good work ethic, and have demonstrated the discipline to work independently
· Ability to excel in a competitive, team-oriented environment
· Advanced verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
· Problem solving skills, resourceful and effective in making decisions
