Job Summary
An established Manufacturer is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to manage all aspects of human resources within our organization, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits. The HR Director will also manage the HR staff, ensure compliance with HR laws and policies and serve as a strategic partner to facility leadership. This is a hands-on role for an HR professional who understands the pace, complexity, and people dynamics of world class manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies, manage hiring processes, and ensure a qualified workforce.
- Address employee concerns, manage performance, and promote a positive work environment.
- Identifies training needs, develops and implements training programs, and promotes employee development.
- Support performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and reporting.
- Oversees compensation administration, benefits programs and ensures compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Provides leadership and supervision to the HR department, ensuring effective operation and communication.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is required.
- Minimum of seven years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment required
- SHRM or PHR Certification is required.
- HRIS knowledge required.
- Strong working knowledge of employee relations and compliance.
- Ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Comfortable working in an on-site, operational environment.
