Food Safety and Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced Food Safety and Quality Manager to lead food safety and quality assurance at our production and cold storage facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can own daily operations, manage a team, and keep the facility audit-ready. You will work alongside a fellow QA Manager to cover both production shifts, oversee a team of technicians, and enforce food safety and quality standards across the operation.

What you'll do:

• Lead daily food safety and quality assurance operations
• Manage and mentor a team of QA technicians
• Maintain and improve quality control systems and SOPs
• Implement and uphold HACCP programs and sanitation protocols
• Lead internal inspections and keep the facility audit-ready
• Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Partner with production, operations, and maintenance teams
• Oversee product testing and lab results

What you need:

• Minimum 5 years of QA management experience in food manufacturing
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• HACCP and PCQI certification
• Strong leadership and team management experience
• Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations
• Flexibility to support both shifts and weekends as needed

Schedule: Two shifts (6:00a-2:30p and 2:30p-11:00p), coverage shared with a second QA Manager. Flexibility required.
