Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, including continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
• Rotate between day and night shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) as determined by operational needs.
• May float to other units within the same facility to care for the same patient population as needed.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation with an acceptable passing score.
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing; recent Med/Surg Tele experience required (travel experience accepted).
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission.
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
• Active ACLS certification required.
• Active NIHSS certification required.
• No open licensing or background case hits; all required certifications must be active with nothing pending.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience obtained within a single facility.
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting.
