Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Open roles include:
- Special Education Assessment Teacher: Conduct student evaluations, help with eligibility determinations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to compliant IEP development.
- Special Education Teacher – Setting III/IV (Restore Program, High School): Support students with significant behavioral, emotional, and academic needs in a therapeutic program, utilizing individualized strategies.
- ASD Center-Based Elementary Special Education Teacher: Guide elementary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a structured, center-based program, crafting individualized supports and fostering progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver research-based, specially designed instruction
- Maintain consistent progress monitoring and documentation
- Collaborate with general and special education teams, administrators, and families
- Employ behavioral and classroom management strategies
- Participate in IEP, evaluation, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Uphold compliance with IDEA, Minnesota Special Education statutes, and district policies
- Cultivate inclusive learning environments that support student achievement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Special Education or related field
- Active (or reciprocity-eligible) Minnesota Special Education Teaching License
- Experience crafting and managing IEPs
- In-depth understanding of IDEA compliance and special education case management
- Effective communicator and collaborator
- Preferred: Experience with ASD, Resource, Self-Contained, Setting III/IV, or Assessment roles; familiarity with PBIS, MTSS, FBAs, and BIPs; experience at elementary and/or secondary levels; expertise in behavior management and crisis intervention
