General Manager – Full-Service Restaurant

We are looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead the daily operations of our full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing high-performing teams, and driving sales and profitability. This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure outstanding food quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop management and hourly team members.
• Create employee schedules and manage labor costs while maintaining excellent guest service.
• Monitor food, beverage, and labor costs to achieve financial goals.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Analyze sales reports, budgets, and key performance indicators to improve restaurant performance.
• Lead by example, fostering a positive, team-oriented culture with high employee engagement.
• Maintain restaurant facilities and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Drive local store marketing initiatives and community involvement when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop successful teams.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, labor, and food cost controls.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus.
