Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Kula, HI requiring variable day/evening/night shift availability, a valid HI RN license, and at least one year of recent experience.

• Hospital-based Med/Surg setting with floating requirements between Maui Memorial Campus and Kihei facility
\n
• Expected to float between the following units: LTC/Skilled Nursing, ICF/IID Unit, and CAH Unit
\n
• Variable shifts required — travelers must have open availability for day, evening, and night shifts based on facility needs; this is non-negotiable
\n
• Shift hours span 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (12-hour D/N variable)
\n
• Weekend and holiday coverage included
\n
• 40 hours per week
\n
• 26-week contract
\n
• Epic EMR
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active HI RN license required
\n
• Current BLS certification required
\n
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending licenses and certifications are not accepted
\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent RN experience within the last 3 years
\n
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
\n
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

• BSN or related bachelor's degree preferred
\n
• Local candidates are accepted and receive the same rate as traveling candidates
\n
• Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers may not exceed two years of cumulative assignment time without a minimum 90-day break, regardless of whether assignments were continuous or included lapses of less than three months
