Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Albany, Georgia.

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
LocationAlbany, GA
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | Onsite | Shift start times: 6:45 AM / 6:45 PM | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation with permanent staff
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients ranging from routine to high-risk OB, including antepartum patients requiring extended stays prior to delivery or discharge
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart monitoring using the OB Trace FHM system in accordance with AWHONN staffing ratios
- Assist with and support procedures performed on the unit including C-sections, cerclages, and tubals
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Float to postpartum unit as needed
- Collaborate with in-house OB hospitalists, neonatology, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, lactation support, and OR/OB techs as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery specialty
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Intermediate level or above Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Familiarity with OB Trace fetal heart monitoring system
- Experience caring for high-risk antepartum and OB emergency room patients
- Work in a well-supported unit with in-house neonatology, OB hospitalists available 24/7, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and lactation services on site
