Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Coronary Care Unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices
- Perform and assist with procedures including heart catheterizations, cardioversion, and central line management
- Administer and manage medication drips in a high-acuity ICU environment
- Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and interdisciplinary team members across night shift
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Previous travel nursing experience in a large facility ICU setting
- 2 or more years of ICU experience
- Work alongside an experienced and tenured nursing staff in a well-equipped coronary care unit utilizing advanced technology including balloon pumps and CRRT
