American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel assignment requiring 2+ years of L&D experience, C-section circulation skills, and an active NJ or Compact RN license.
Details- Night shift position working 3x12.5-hour shifts (19:30–06:30)
- Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting serving an average census of approximately 19 patients per day across 26 rooms and beds
- Unit encompasses Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, GYN, and Postpartum/Nursery
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Floating required to Antepartum, Postpartum, and PACU based on hospital need
- Every other weekend required based on unit needs
- No on-call responsibilities
- Charting system: Epic; medication dispensing: Pyxis
- Active NJ or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Must be able to circulate for C-sections
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Two current professional references required for consideration
- 13-week travel assignment
- Blue scrubs are provided by the facility
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- All requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being extended
- Former staff (full-time or PRN) of the RWJBH health system must have been separated from the system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
