Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical
LocationDurant, Oklahoma
Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Floating Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
- Float between Medical Surgical floors as needed to support staffing requirements
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care appropriately
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- PALS certification required within 6 months of start date
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with high-volume inpatient units and adaptive scheduling environments
- No call required, offering a predictable and structured schedule
