Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in a Medical/Surgical setting
- Perform thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Function independently while responding rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all patient and organizational matters
- Uphold and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization in accordance with Maine State Standards
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Maine
- Experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing environment
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills
- Proficiency with healthcare computer systems and electronic health records
- Ability to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations
- Prior experience working night shift in an acute care or Med/Surg unit
- Familiarity with Maine State nursing standards and regulatory requirements
