Travel MRI Technologist – 13-Week Contract | Bangor, ME
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations using established imaging protocols.
- Operate MRI equipment to produce accurate cross-sectional and 3D diagnostic images.
- Screen patients for MRI safety and ensure compliance with MRI zone safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Utilize PACS for image management and maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintain a safe imaging environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
Assignment Details:
- 13-week travel contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Day shift
- On-call rotation required (pager pay applicable)
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of MRI experience
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Active ARRT certification required
- ARRT (MRI) certification preferred
- Active Maine Radiography license (or eligibility as required)
