\n\nOpportunity:
\nPhysical Therapist - Outpatient
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work in an outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting treating patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
\n• Evaluate and treat patients to help improve mobility, function, and strength
\n• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
\n• Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up
\n• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care
\n• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
\n• Responsible for accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up regarding prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
\n• Must be proficient in ICD-10 coding and familiar with PT billing policies including Medicare, workers' compensation, private, auto, liens, and cash pay
\n• Must be able to make independent decisions regarding patient care
\n• Involved in business marketing and referral process when necessary
\n• Must be physically mobile, including a combination of stool sitting, walking, and prolonged standing for 8-10 hour work days
\n• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers, mobility, and walking safety
\n• Computer skills required including typing, Microsoft Word, Internet, and EMR systems
\n• Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of California
\n• Degree in Physical Therapy required
\n• Continuing Education courses preferred
\n• No travel expected for this position
