Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility for Alabama licensure)
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing support to staff
