American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and TNCC certification.
Details- Works in the Emergency Department (ED) of a 426-bed, short-term acute care hospital that is a Level II Trauma Center
- Part of the Yale New Haven Health System
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Every other weekend required
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
- Free parking available on-site
- Active CT or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Epic EMR experience required
- Trauma Center experience required
- Candidates must not have any priors on their nursing license
- Flu vaccine required — declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccine required; religious or medical exemptions considered
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility
- 1 reference required for consideration
- License does not need to be active at the time of application, but must be obtained prior to start
