Medlivo is seeking a travel nurse RN GI Lab for a travel nursing job in Petaluma, California.

Basic Requirements – GI Lab RN
\n Shift:
\n Day shift 5x8s (07:00 – 15:30) | No weekends
\n Experience:
\n Minimum 3 years of RN experience
\n Endoscopy / GI procedure experience preferred
\n Experience with colonoscopy, EGD procedures
\n Ability to assist in pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery phases
\n Experience with conscious sedation monitoring and recovery
\n Must have recent direct patient care experience
\n Licensure / Certifications:
\n Active RN License
\n BLS Certification (required)
\n ACLS Certification (required)
\n CGRN – Certified Gastroenterology RN (preferred)
\n Clinical Skills:
\n Administer and monitor conscious sedation
\n IV insertion and medication administration
\n 12-lead ECG/EKG monitoring
\n Specimen collection, labeling, and handling
\n Airway management and post-sedation recovery
\n Procedural Experience:
\n Colonoscopy
\n EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy)
\n Assist/scrub/circulate during procedures
\n Experience with ERCP, EUS, EBUS, Bronchoscopy (preferred)
\n Esophageal banding, sclerotherapy (preferred)
\n Equipment Experience:
\n Balloon dilators, polyp snares, electrosurgical units
\n ERBE coagulation equipment
\n Endoscopy forceps and dilation equipment
\n Systems / Work Setting:
\n Epic charting experience required
\n Inpatient & outpatient endoscopy center setting
\n 1:1 patient ratio
\n Additional Requirements:
\n Must be able to float to Pre-Op and Phase II PACU
\n May float to sister facilities (Santa Rosa / Healdsburg) with 24-hour notice.
