Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location\nChattanooga, TN
Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule\nShift: 19:00-07:00 (3 shifts/week required, with potential holiday shifts)
Job Description\nWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maternal care and a commitment to ensuring optimal outcomes for mothers and their newborns.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients, ensuring safety and comfort. \n
- Conduct cervical exams, place IUPCs and FSEs, and support vaginal deliveries. \n
- Administer IV starts and perform lab draws as needed. \n
- Circulate in cesarean sections and recover patients post-cesarean. \n
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and outcomes. \n

- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, with at least one travel contract completed. \n
- Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring. \n
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee. \n
