Key Responsibilities- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment averaging 25–35 cases per day
- Support a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and ENT
- Assist with advanced robotic and technology-driven procedures including DaVinci XI and MAKO/Velys hip and knee systems
- Fulfill on-call requirements including one weekend per month (48-hour call) and two first-call and two second-call weekdays per schedule cycle
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a board runner, holding nurse, surgical attendants, and anesthesia tech
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Kentucky
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability and willingness to fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled
- Must provide own scrubs in accordance with facility dress code requirements
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical platforms, particularly DaVinci XI or MAKO systems
- Background in high-volume orthopedic surgery environments, including total joint procedures
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record documentation
- Work in a technologically advanced OR featuring DaVinci XI, MAKO, and Velys hip and knee systems in a collaborative, work-friendly environment
- Gain high-volume surgical experience with over 1,300 total joints and 550 robotic cases performed annually
