Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver care to a mixed acuity patient population, including telemetry and stepdown.
\n
• Manage patient ratios typically between 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.
\n
• Float to various units, including neuro and medical-surgical floors, as staffing needs arise.
\n
• Implement treatment plans for neurological conditions such as strokes, aneurysms, and seizures.
\n
• Monitor patients requiring long-term EEG and care for post-neurosurgery patients.
\n
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols, including mandatory nicotine-free policies.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Active RN license; Nebraska license or pending with submission preferred.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
\n
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required.
\n
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS.
\n
• Experienced in handling medical-surgical and telemetry patient populations.
\n
• Ability to manage various drips and interpret dysrhythmias efficiently.
\n
