Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Neuro PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide expert care for medical surgical patients specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
\n
• Manage patient loads of up to six Med Surg patients in a mixed acuity unit.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including CNAs, care techs, and transport teams.
\n
• Administer care in a 48-bed unit, equipped for long-term EEG monitoring.
\n
• Float within the facility as needed to meet staffing requirements.
\n
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, including a nicotine-free policy.
\n

\n\nQualifications\n

\n
• 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
\n
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
\n
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications required.
\n
• Proficiency in managing cardiac and vasoactive drips is necessary.
\n
• Experience with a Level l Academic Medical Center is preferred.
\n
• Commitment to work scheduled weekends and holidays as required.
\n
