Basic Minimum Requirements – CT Technologist

\n Location: Beckley
\n Unit: CT Scan Department
\n Trauma Level: III
\n Contract Length: 13 Weeks
\n Schedule: Weekend Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
\n Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

\n Required Qualifications
\n Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience
\n ARRT (R) required (ARRT (CT) strongly preferred)
\n Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
\n Venipuncture/contrast administration experience
\n Experience in an acute care hospital setting
\n Ability to work independently on weekend night shifts
\n Required Skills

\n Trauma CT Imaging
\n CTA Brain

\n Ability to perform multiple exams efficiently on the same patient
\n Preferred Experience
\n Level III Trauma or higher
\n Stroke and Chest Pain Accredited facility experience
\n Emergency Department and inpatient CT experience
\n GE CT scanner experience
\n Equipment & Systems
\n GE Revolution EVO CT Scanner
\n Meditech EMR
\n Patient Population
\n Pediatric
\n Adult
\n Geriatric
\n Common Diagnoses
\n Stroke (CVA)
\n Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
\n Trauma/Fractures
\n Appendicitis
\n Pneumonia
\n COPD
\n Additional Requirements
\n Must be customer-service oriented and work well with patients
\n Strong teamwork and communication skills
\n Professional appearance and excellent hygiene
\n Traveler must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
\n All required certifications must be active before start date
\n No call required
\n No floating required
