Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Oncology patients in an acute care setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient conditions, progress, and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Med/Surg or Oncology nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Prior experience in a Med/Surg Oncology unit
- Familiarity with oncology-specific medications and treatment protocols
- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the care of oncology patients in a supportive clinical environment
- Gain valuable contract experience in a specialized acute care setting
