American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Level II Trauma Center with well-rounded surgical specialty experience and Epic proficiency required.

- Short-term acute care hospital setting, Level II Trauma Center with 385 staffed beds \n
- Operating Room unit handling 60–70 cases per day across multiple surgical specialties \n
- High-acuity specialties include Ortho (including total joints), Neuro (including craniotomies), Gen/Trauma, Vascular, Endovascular/Hybrid, GYN/Uro, ENT/Plastics, Eyes, and Robotics \n
- 1:1 patient ratio \n
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM \n
- On-call required: up to four 8-hour on-call shifts per 4-week cycle \n
- No floating required \n
- Charting system: Epic (1 year of experience required) \n
- Equipment includes DaVinci Robotics (4 active robot rooms including one DaVinci 5), DaVinci Xi, Doppler, Ultrasound, Neptune, Aquamantis, Video Systems, Lasers, Various Stapling Systems, Hana and Jackson tables, Neuro Beds with Attachments, and Cryoablation \n
- Scrubs are provided in the OR \n

- Active OR RN license required; pending license applications will be accepted with proof of application \n
- Active BLS required; ACLS and PALS strongly preferred \n
- Minimum 2 years of Level I–II trauma OR experience required, with well-rounded proficiency across all major surgical specialties \n
- Ortho experience must include total joints (minimum 2 years at Level I–II) \n
- Neuro experience must include craniotomies (minimum 2 years at Level II) \n
- Must be highly proficient in a Level II trauma OR environment \n
- Minimum 1 year of Epic experience required \n
- All required certifications must be active at time of consideration \n
- Previous PeaceHealth employees (travel or permanent) must disclose prior facility and dates of employment \n

- Performs high-acuity ortho, neuro, and general surgical cases as part of the facility's Level II Trauma certification \n
- Facility is a nonprofit Level II Trauma Center and DaVinci Robotics Center of Excellence with 4 actively used robotic rooms \n
- Orientation for this unit is held bi-weekly on Mondays \n
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position \n
- Local candidates will not be considered \n
- RTO requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis with no blanket restrictions \n
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration \n
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration \n
