\n

Basic Requirements – Mammography Technologist

\n Experience:

\n Minimum 2 years of Mammography experience
\n Experience performing screening and diagnostic mammograms
\n Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography) experience preferred
\n Ability to work with scheduled patients (approx. 1 patient per hour)
\n Experience working with inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR patients

\n Licensure / Certifications:

\n ARRT (R) – Registered Radiologic Technologist
\n ARRT (M) – Mammography Certification
\n BLS (AHA) Certification
\n California State Radiology / Mammography License
\n COVID-19 Vaccination (required by facility)

\n Compliance / Documentation Requirements:

\n Initial Digital Mammography CE Units
\n Initial Tomosynthesis CE Units
\n 2 years Mammography & Tomosynthesis CEU documentation
\n Prior Mammography procedure volumes for the last 2 years
\n Active certifications and licenses

\n Technical Skills:

\n Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
\n Knowledge of digital mammography systems and tomography imaging
\n Understanding of patient positioning, breast anatomy, and radiation safety

\n Systems / Equipment:

\n Familiarity with Cerner EMR
\n Experience with Siemens mammography/CT imaging equipment (preferred)

\n Work Schedule:

\n 8-hour day shifts (Monday – Friday)
\n Potential weekend call depending on department needs.
