Sawgrass Healthcare (A Datson360 Company) is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

Med/Surg RN - Jamaica Plain, MA

Term/Duration: 13 weeks

Scheduled hours: 40 hrs

Shift: 8 hr days (7:00 AM–3:30 PM)

Responsibilities:

Independently assess patients for vascular access needs and place PICC lines and Midline catheters.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot vascular access devices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide IV therapy and vascular access education to patients and clinical staff as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Float to other hospital units as needed to support staffing and patient care requirements.

Requirements:

Current MA license.
Minimum 2 years of experience required.
BLS
Demonstrated experience placing PICC lines independently, with recent procedural experience required.
Ability to discuss the length of independent PICC/Midline placement experience and the number of PICC insertions completed within the last three months.
Previous hospital-based IV nursing experience required (this is not a clinic position).
