American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- 13-week contract with 36 hours per week
- Schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts per week
- Epic used for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
- Active CO or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA only); must not expire prior to assignment start
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient nursing care in the OR setting
- Performs delegated medical functions, patient teaching, health counseling, and care coordination including consultation, delegation, and supervision
- Refers patients as needed and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Allow approximately 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results; candidates should report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment
