Moab Regional Hospital is looking for a passionate Mammographer/Dexa Technologist to join our Radiology team.\nYou will be responsible for using specialized X-ray equipment to capture high-quality breast images to aid in the diagnosis of breast conditions and cancers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, patient care, and safety adherence.\nReady to Ditch the Ordinary? Apply Today!\nThis is a non-exempt, full-time, benefitted position.\nStarting Pay Range: $29.70-$43.08, DOE.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nOperate and maintain mammography equipment to produce clear and accurate X-ray images of breast tissue.\nPosition and compress patients' breasts for optimal image acquisition.\nEnsure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of the procedure throughout.\nAdhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff.\nEvaluate mammogram images for quality and may require retakes to ensure optimal results.\nMaintain detailed patient records and documentation.\nStay up-to-date on the latest mammography techniques and best practices.\nMay assist physicians during diagnostic procedures (depending on the facility).\nPromote breast health awareness by educating patients on the importance of regular screenings.\nMinimum requirements:\nMust be ARRT registered.\nMammography license or certification required.\nAssociate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of one year of experience in mammography is ideal.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.\nCompassionate and patient demeanor to ensure a comfortable experience for patients undergoing potentially anxiety-provoking procedures.\nExcellent computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).\nWillingness to modify schedule to help accommodate time off requests.\nMust be reliable, punctual, and emotionally mature.\nExcellent customer service and communication skills (oral, written, and listening).\nAbility to work in a confidential manner.\nMust enjoy working as part of a small team.\nMust possess high levels of self-motivation and -management.\nMust possess a positive attitude.
