Job Description
ArchWell Health is seeking a Family or Internal Medicine physician to join our growing outpatient practice in Birmingham, AL. This is a true outpatient role focused on an adult/Medicare population 60+ designed for physicians who want to practice high-quality medicine with strong support and a predictable schedule. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a rewarding role with a growing team at one of our well-established Birmingham locations.
What Makes This Opportunity Different
- No weekends
- MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM schedule
- Outpatient only no hospital or skilled nursing facility responsibilities
- Minimal call, via phone only and rotates with entire Alabama market providers
- Dedicated admin time built into schedule
- $20,000+ sign-on bonus and relocation assistance if needed
- Annual Quality metrics-based bonus (not RVU-driven)
- We remove unnecessary work so our physicians can focus on medicine
Practice Model
You will be supported by a dedicated care team, allowing you to focus on patient care rather than administrative burden:
- Medical assistants and center staff
- Care coordination support
- Average 10-14 patients per day upon ramp up
- Emphasis on relationship-based, physician-driven care
- Efficient, cloud-based EMR
- Modern, newly built centers with strong operational support
- Autonomy in customization of patient care, protected clinical judgement

Who Were Looking For
- Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Comfortable caring for adult and Medicare-aged patients
- Team-oriented with a focus on quality and continuity of care
- Physician must have an active, non-probationary Alabama medical license OR have the ability to obtain a full Alabama medical licensure
