Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 72 Hours Per Pay Period (0.9 FTE) | Onsite | Weekend and holiday availability required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed Observation Unit serving adult patients (18 years and older)
- Monitor and manage patients meeting observation status criteria including chest pain, TIA, asthma exacerbation, DVT/PE, post-procedural monitoring, and related diagnoses
- Utilize cardiac monitoring equipment and document care using Cerner EHR
- Float as needed to Medical, Cardiac, and Neuro-Ortho units
- Maintain compliance with attendance requirements, including making up any missed shifts to fulfill contracted hours
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale Competency
- Telemetry/ECG Competency
- BSN preferred
- Telemetry experience strongly preferred
- TNCC or ENPC certification
- Experience in a Trauma Level II facility
- Work at a 225-bed regional specialty care hospital offering a broad scope of services including Heart & Vascular, Cancer Care, Brain & Spine, Behavioral Health, and more
