Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week hospital assignment. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled technologist who is committed to providing exceptional patient care while performing high-quality diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures.
Schedule:
• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours
• Holiday coverage required
• On-call rotation required
Responsibilities:
• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and educate patients prior to imaging procedures
• Safely prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
• Perform venipuncture and maintain IV access as needed
• Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
• Process and evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems for documentation and image management
• Order radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols
• Assist with PET services as needed
• Provide discharge instructions and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient care
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Active CNMT or ARRT (N) Certification
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Previous Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols
Additional Details:
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Hospital-based imaging department
