Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:30) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
- Assist with and support C-section procedures in collaboration with the surgical and obstetric team
- Float between like units as needed to support staffing requirements
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in on-call coverage as requested (not required)
- Complete required compliance modules prior to start and annually as directed
- Active or pending RN license (pending licenses accepted; quick start preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Experience in Postpartum and C-Section care required
- Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications required
- Willingness to work every other weekend
- Permanent residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for a travel contract
- AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
- Familiarity with Level II NICU patient populations, including RDS, sepsis, NOWS/NAS, hyperbilirubinemia, and hypoglycemia
- Experience with PPN/Lipids, EPIV management, and short-term intubation support
- Work at a 325-bed short-term acute care facility with a supportive clinical environment and established Level II NICU program
