Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a vital role supporting patient care and diagnostic excellence as a skilled Radiology Technologist. Utilizing expertise in imaging, you’ll perform high-quality X-rays and radiologic procedures, working closely with physicians and clinical teams to provide the best outcomes for patients.
Schedule:
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
- Valid state license to practice as a Radiology Technologist
- Proven experience operating digital and conventional X-ray equipment
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and best practices
- Competency in positioning patients and producing diagnostic images
- Ability to work with all patient populations and maintain a compassionate, professional manner
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate X-ray and other imaging equipment to produce images for diagnostic evaluation
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate interpretations
- Verify patient identification and obtain relevant history prior to imaging procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Adhere to all protocols for infection control and equipment sterilization
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of imaging performed
- Address patient or staff inquiries regarding procedures as necessary
