Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

  • Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts, using radiation therapy equipment according to established practices and standards.
  • \n
  • Maintain detailed records of patient treatments and progress.
  • \n
  • Monitor the patient's physical condition during treatment.
  • \n
  • Ensure accurate radiation dosage by verifying and maintaining optimal equipment settings.
  • \n
  • Adhere to all radiation safety measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • \n
  • Participate in the call schedule for evening and weekend coverage as required.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Board Certified Radiation Therapist with a current license.
  • \n
  • Experience in nuclear medicine preferred; must possess basic scanning skills.
  • \n
  • Proficiency with equipment such as GE 850, GE 830, Brivo.
  • \n
  • Advanced Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT - NM) required.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a patient-oriented approach.
  • \n
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a small team in a busy procedural environment.
