Primary Care Physician Role Overview:

As a Primary Care Physician in Visalia, you will deliver comprehensive outpatient medical care to a diverse panel of veteran patients. Provide preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient-centered services in a collaborative and well-resourced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outpatient primary care services including physical exams, diagnosis, and ongoing management of chronic and acute conditions
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, and routine check-ups
• Collaborate with mental health and specialty care teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
• Educate patients and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation according to VA policy and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement projects, team meetings, and educational opportunities
• Mentor and teach residents, medical students, and other healthcare trainees as appropriate
