Minimum Requirements – CT Technologist

\n Required Certifications

\n ARRT (R)
\n ARRT (CT)
\n BLS (AHA)

\n Experience

\n Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience
\n Acute care/hospital experience preferred
\n Experience with trauma, ER, inpatient, and outpatient imaging is commonly required

\n Core Skills

\n CT Head, Chest, Abdomen, and Pelvis
\n Contrast administration
\n IV starts (if required by facility)
\n CTA studies
\n Radiation safety and patient positioning
\n PACS and EMR documentation

\n Licensure

\n Active state license

\n Equipment Experience

\n Experience with at least one major scanner:
\n Siemens
\n GE
\n Philips
\n Canon/Toshiba

\n
