American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring ACLS and BLS certifications, working night shifts at a 42-bed unit in North Carolina.
Details- 42-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Diverse patient population including cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedic cases
- May be assigned IMCU patients based on census needs
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Weekends and holidays are required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating to units of like or lesser acuity may be required
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- Proficiency with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Unit team is composed of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/Unit Secretaries
- Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the hiring manager
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with your application to be honored at time of offer
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
