Public Area Cleaner

We’re in search of a hard-working team player to join us as a janitor. You’ll be in charge of the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of our building. A typical day includes vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing floors, shampooing carpets, and any additional maintenance duties as needed. $17 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
• Complete regularly scheduled maintenance duties like cleaning windows, shampooing carpets, supplying restrooms, changing light bulbs, and performing minor repairs
• Keep the building safe, clean, and well-maintained
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees

Qualifications:

• Over 1 year of experience in cleaning services as a janitor or similar job
• Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
• Great physical health and stamina
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
