Security Guard

Description:

X-Ray Associates of New Mexico is seeking a professional, dependable Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and employees. This position combines traditional security responsibilities with customer service by assisting patients and visitors throughout our imaging centers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned facilities and parking areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor entrances and exits and respond appropriately to security concerns.
• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Escort patients, visitors, and staff to and from parking areas when requested.
• Assist patients who may require wheelchair assistance or help navigating the facility.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, accidents, or policy violations.
• Complete accurate incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with management and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Assist with de-escalating difficult situations using professionalism and excellent customer service.
• Enforce company policies while maintaining a positive patient experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid New Mexico Security Guard License preferred (or ability to obtain if required).
• Previous security, law enforcement, military, or healthcare security experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation preferred.

Schedule

• Part-time Saturday only from 8am to 9pm
