Job Title

Registered Nurse – IR/Special Procedures (Vascular Interventional Radiology)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Rotating schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM–6:00 PM) or 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) | On-call required on a rotating basis including weeknights, weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Vascular Interventional Radiology setting within a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma teaching facility
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation during interventional procedures
• Circulate for interventional radiology procedures as needed
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or active Compact State nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing
• Experience with moderate sedation
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Radiation badge required — must be supplied by the placing agency prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in pediatric and/or adult vascular interventional radiology
• Experience circulating for interventional procedures
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
