Job Overview
Madison Approach Staffing is recruiting for a Patient Customer Service Specialist for our client, a medical equipment company. This role is crucial in maintaining patient relationships and ensuring continuity of care through medical equipment shipping, upgrades, and renewals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage customer interactions while maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer patient phone calls and emails regarding equipment orders, status, and services
- Process new patient accounts and verify insurance coverage
- Coordinate equipment shipping, upgrades, and renewals
- Generate sales orders and prepare delivery documentation
- Resolve patient inquiries and complaints professionally
- Maintain organized patient records and document all interactions
- Support office operations and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ years customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or medical equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organized records
- Basic computer proficiency with phone systems and databases
- Professional demeanor with patients and internal teams
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
