About this job
Job Description
Robot Service Technician – Work on the Future, Today
Ever wanted to say your job involves building and fixing self-driving robots? Now you can.
We're looking for a skilled, curious, and hands-on technician to keep a fleet of autonomous delivery robots running at their best. You'll work across assembly, maintenance, field support, and even R&D — no two days look the same, and the work you do directly shapes what this technology becomes.
What You'll Be Working On
Build It
- Assemble harnesses, cables, and connectors for self-driving delivery robots
- Install and swap out sensors — LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonics — the full suite
Fix It
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the robot fleet
- Diagnose breakdowns, investigate incidents, and run service campaigns
- Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components including suspensions and battery systems
Get Out There
- Travel between local sites to provide hands-on field support
- Handle rapid prototyping, testing, and inventory management on the fly
Help Invent It
- Assist R&D teams with experiments and contribute to new projects as the technology evolves
What You Bring
Technical chops
- Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical tools, including measuring equipment
- Comfortable assembling and disassembling products and installing custom electronic modules
- Working knowledge of AC/DC currents and ability to read 2D mechanical drawings
- Soldering skills? Even better
In the field
- Able to lift 50+ pounds — this is real, physical work
- Valid driver's license with a clean MVR for the past 12 months (no CDL needed)
- At ease working in varied field environments
How you show up
- Detail-oriented with a logical, structured approach to problem-solving
- A team player who communicates clearly and collaborates well
- Creative and adaptable — you figure things out rather than wait for instructions
Bonus points for
- Experience in automotive plants, dealerships, or similar hands-on manufacturing environments
- Strong computer literacy for logging, tracking, and communicating digitally
Why This Role is Worth Your Time
You won't be maintaining conveyor belts or changing oil. You'll be keeping autonomous robots on the road — contributing to technology that's changing how the world delivers. If you want work that's genuinely interesting and a team that values what you bring, this is the place.
