We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented SMT Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role responsible for operating, setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining SMT equipment to support high-quality PCB assembly and manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do
  • Set up and operate SMT equipment, including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens.
  • Load and verify components according to work orders and production requirements.
  • Perform machine changeovers and verify setups for production runs.
  • Troubleshoot SMT equipment, feeder, and process issues to keep production running efficiently.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Inspect circuit boards and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on SMT equipment.
  • Read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and production documentation.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet production goals.
  • Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Associate degree or combination of education and work experience.
  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
Preferred Experience
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  • 1 year of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) experience.
  • Experience with PCB assembly and electronics manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with SMT equipment and automated manufacturing processes.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Pay & Benefits
  • Job Pay Transparency: The pay range for this position is $23.00–$33.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors. In addition to base pay, SVI USA offers eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, retirement benefits, and other company-provided benefits.

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (overtime as needed). Day and Swing Shift Available.
