Machine Operator for Tire Recycling Facility
PRT Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery in accordance with company standards
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and consistency
- Make minor adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain production efficiency
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of assigned equipment
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to work outside in an open warehouse (no a/c)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions
Hours of Operation
- Will train first week 7am-330pm (during training pay is $16)
- 2nd week, transition to night shift 330pm- 3am ( pay increases to $18)
