Senior Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney Labor Law

A prominent and rapidly growing Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm is seeking an experienced attorney with a strong background in New York Labor Law and construction accident litigation to join its team.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling Labor Law claims under Sections 200, 240(1), and 241(6), managing catastrophic injury matters, taking and defending depositions, negotiating substantial settlements, and preparing cases for trial. Attorneys with a proven track record of resolving high-value cases and obtaining exceptional results for injured clients are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of complex plaintiff personal injury matters from inception through resolution
• Litigate construction accident and Labor Law cases involving NY Labor Law §§ 200, 240(1), and 241(6)
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Draft and argue motions, including summary judgment motions
• Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences
• Evaluate liability and damages in high-exposure cases
• Negotiate substantial settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel
• Prepare cases for trial and assist in trial presentation
• Develop litigation strategy and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications:

• Admitted and in good standing with the New York Bar
• 5+ years of Plaintiff Personal Injury litigation experience
• Extensive experience handling Labor Law and construction accident cases
• Strong knowledge of New York Labor Law §§ 200, 240(1), and 241(6)
• Proven ability to independently manage complex litigation matters
• Trial experience is highly preferred
• Demonstrated success resolving high-value and catastrophic injury cases
• Excellent negotiation, litigation, and advocacy skills
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication abilities
• Access to a vehicle is preferred due to travel between office locations and court appearances

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $200,000 – $250,000
