Litigation Attorney

Established Palm Desert, CA based boutique style law firm and Southern California-wide presence in trust, estate, and probate litigation, with civil litigation opportunity, seeks career-oriented litigation associate, minimum 4 years or more experience. The candidate must be willing to handle cases in a collaborative, friendly, team environment, from inception to finish inclusive of the preparation of initial pleadings and conduct of subsequent discovery and law and motion; court appearances; and, preparation for, and conduct of, trials. The new team member must be able to deliver complete ready-to-file and serve work product, on briefs, motions, discovery, and court filings of every description. Candidates must be a collegial self-starter, detail oriented, computer literate and willing to embrace technology and properly use it, with strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities:
• Case management and planning abilities, from start to finish, propound, and respond to written discovery, attend Court hearings, and orally argue in Court.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and patiently assist and supervise less experienced colleagues, when necessary. Collaborate with our solid legal support staff to efficiently manage cases.
Qualifications:
• California State Bar License (Required)
• Litigation experience minimum 4 years (Required)
