2nd Shift Wood Assembler

Luminous Personnel is seeking dependable Pallet Wood Assemblers for a manufacturing position in Austin. This role involves measuring lumber, positioning boards, fastening components, inspecting finished pallets, and maintaining a steady production pace while following all safety procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

 Build wooden pallets according to the assigned specifications and production instructions.

 Measure and position boards accurately using a tape measure and other approved tools.

 Operate pneumatic nail guns or related equipment only after receiving required training.

 Inspect lumber and finished pallets for damage, incorrect measurements, loose fasteners, or other quality concerns.

 Move, stack, and organize lumber and completed pallets in the assigned work area.

 Meet reasonable production expectations while protecting quality and workplace safety.

 Keep the workstation clean and report damaged tools, unsafe conditions, injuries, or quality problems immediately.

Minimum Requirements

 Ability to read a standard tape measure in inches and follow basic written or verbal instructions.

 Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the Austin worksite.

 Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with heat, dust, wood debris, and industrial noise.

 Ability to stand for most of the shift and frequently bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and handle wood materials.

 Willingness to work overtime or Saturdays when production requires it.

 Prior manufacturing, woodworking, construction, assembly, or pneumatic tool experience is helpful. Site training will

determine which tools each employee may use.

Safety and Work Clothing

 Employees must wear steel-toe or composite-toe work shoes and durable work jeans or pants with no holes.

 Required personal protective equipment will be provided based on the assignment and may include safety glasses,

hearing protection, gloves, and a high-visibility vest (when needed).

 Loose clothing, unsecured jewelry, and unsafe footwear are not permitted in the production area.

 Employees must follow all lockout, guarding, housekeeping, lifting, and tool safety instructions provided by the client

and Luminous Personnel.

Attendance and Performance

Employees are expected to arrive on time, remain ready to work throughout the scheduled shift, communicate

absences promptly to their supervisor and Luminous Personnel, and follow supervisor instructions.
