Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to a patient population that is approximately 50% cardiac, within a 16-bed critical care unit
• Respond to code blue calls and manage patients requiring arterial lines, mechanical ventilators, BiPAP, and cardiac monitoring
• Perform ventilator weaning and extubation as indicated
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis for documentation and medication management
• Float to Telemetry and Emergency Department as needed
• Badge in and out of the facility for all shifts per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota state RN license
• Active BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Active ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of cardiac experience
• Willingness to float to Telemetry and Emergency Department units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
