Essential Functions
Provide psychosocial assessments of patientsages 6-15 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)andtheirfamilies.Formulates biopsychosocial assessment, disposition, and treatment plans.
Provide evidence-basedclinicalinterventionsto individuals,families,andoccasionallygroups,includingpsychoeducation,solutions-focused, supportive,andASD-informedtherapy
In collaboration withmultidisciplinaryteam, including Lurie Center psychologist, evaluate patients with intellectual disabilities for guardianship and complete the Clinical Team Report (CTR).
Provide relevant referrals, advocacy,andclinical care coordinationbetween healthcare providers, schools, public agencies,community resources,etc.
Additionalresponsibilities asrequiredto support the needs of the Lurie Center and its patients.
Education Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Workrequired
Experience Qualifications
2-3 years Clinical Experience in a medical settingrequired
Prior experience working with patients with autism spectrum disorder strongly preferred
Bilingual preferred

Demonstratesproficiencyto formulate assessment of risks, crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, andthe documentationof bothin a timely manner.

Demonstrates proficient working knowledge of internal and external resources and refers appropriately.
Providesa range of evidence-based interventions.
Ability to advocate, coordinate, and continuously communicate with treatment plans with patients,familyand the interdisciplinary team.
Incorporates social sensitivity.
Ifappropriate,utilizessupervision and consultation regularly and appropriately.
Actively seeks assistance with complex cases and situations in a timely manner.
Engages in quality improvement projects,usesdata to measure progress.
Facilitate skill-based groups.
Knowledge,understandingand ability to negotiate and work in a complex organization.
Demonstrate capacity to effectively communicate findings with a broader audience.
